Blues-rock guitarist and vocalist David M’ore brings his intense high-octane style to Brentwood, where he’ll perform at Mannheim Social Club, 561 1st St., on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
M’ore is riding a musical hot streak of late that has seen him headline the yearly Kern River Rock ‘N Blues Festival as well as being named an endorser for world-renowned Ernie Ball guitar strings, joining other contemporary guitar greats, including Jimmy Page, Steve Vai, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck and Albert Lee.
From the beginning, traditional blues and British neoclassical hard rock played a very important role in the evolution of the David M’ore style. Born in Argentina, he picked up a guitar his godfather bought him for his eighth birthday and immediately began to explore vintage records.
The Mannheim Social Club is located at 561 First Street in downtown Brentwood.
